Tell the Governor to reject parole for CO killer Michael Martin

Victor Sam was a Correctional Officer at the California Rehabilitation Center (CRC) at Norco, California. He was murdered by Michael A. Martin on July 21, 1977. The Board of Parole has just recommended he be released on parole.

Officer Sam had a wife and an eight day old son when he was murdered. Officer Sam stopped to help what appeared to be a stranded motorist while driving home from work. The scene was actually a set-up and Officer Sam was robbed. When the robber saw Sam’s Peace Officer ID card in his wallet, he shot Sam to death.

Martin is now 53 years old. He has been far from a model prisoner. He had an extensive criminal history at the time he murdered Officer Sam.

Under California law Governor Brown has the ability to stop Martin’s release on parole. Officer Sam’s widow Dena is urging people to write to the Governor and urge him to stop the parole. The window for executive action closes on January 17.

Those wishing to do so can write to the Governor as shown below.

Governor Jerry Brown
State Capitol Bldg, Suite 1173
Sacramento, CA 95814
916-445-2841

Governor Brown is a coward, who grants leniency to MURDERERS, and gives no thought to VICTIMS or their families... Gov. Brown is bought and paid for by the ACLU, and so forces their agenda upon the people of California.

Is Gov. Brown really that ignorant - as to release a violent MURDERER back out into the streets?

I guess Gov. Brown doesn't fear having another MURDER on his conscience. He's too weak to impose and uphold the Death Penalty for these BRUTAL, HEINOUS MURDERERS.

So he hides behind some false pretense of MORALS, and releases these MURDERERS BACK OUT INTO SOCIETY, TO KILL AGAIN!

Shame on you Gov. Brown, for not upholding the law! Shame on you, for endangering us all! Shame on you for GIVING NO VALUE TO THE LIFE OF EACH VICTIM!!!
