Correctional Peace Officers Association will provide a picnic for families with a child with cancer at Hunter Hobby Park in Riverside on Sunday, June 9, 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Children with cancer and their families will enjoy a fun-filled day where they can participate in such events as water balloon tosses, three-legged races and tug-a-war. The Live Steamers will provide free train rides. The California Correctional Peace Officers Association will cook hamburgers and hot dogs.
